Pearl Harbor Day
December 7, 2012

As younger generations emerge I can only guess this day will mean less and less; it still means a lot to people my age whose parents were directly affected by it.
In Georgia this past week selling humidifiers in short sleeves at Christmastime. I'm not that good.....
I've decided I really like that picture of Jay and Jackson, probably going to stay with it for a while, or at least until, oh there goes a shiny butterfly! What were we talking about?
TAR has the house looking like a Norman Rockwell painting, very nice, so let's look at another way of decorating shall we?
Yoda poor.........................
Saw this in Kinston this week, not sure if it was really an original Corvette or not, my rep in Atlanta told me they made some repli-cars for this. It certainly didn't look perfect enough to be an original, almost looked like a daily driver which would be kinda hard to believe, but who knows?
Always one in every crowd. We had a neighbor who had a yellow lab that was medicated for this reason. We traded dog duties when on vacation, Anytime I fed her she jumped around me constantly barking; one day she fell over and didn't move. Uhhhhhh-ohhhhhhhhhhhh, the Hollar family isn't going to like this! But after I rubbed her for a while she jumped up and resumed her frantic pace. Her face always looked sorta like this..................
To this I would add "with my mouth hanging open" Yes, middle age is a wonderful time, it reminds me of the story about the .............oh, there goes another pretty butterfly......................
Heading off to Milwaukee early Monday morning, home late Friday night and then off to DC early Saturday morning to pick up Jackson. I'll get some sleep when I'm dead.
Oh, the first picture? The Wreath of Khan

Dueling Banjos No, the odd looking young man did not play the banjo in the movie, here is how the movie-magic people did it: Fake sleeves !!...
