I saw where West Marine had a sale on boat seats. Maybe you could mount some of the swivel type captain's chairs for those post on the deck. Looking good!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOUR DAD! That is good detail in that closeup too. The deck is coming along nicely. Are you doing the deck yourself or are you getting help?
We're not doing any of the work ourselves. Our general contractor is Tom Davis. Tom built the house and is our neighbor, pretty good with detail. After the addition is made he will then put hardwood floors in most of the house, and then paint the entire outside and inside. We can paint ourselves, but if we have the crews here we figure it's in everyone's best interests to get them to do it all. In another couple of weeks they will have all of the exterior windows and will be entering the living space; at that time I'm sure we'll really be looking forward to the end of the project!
