Short Entry
February 22, 2013
No time, I gottttta gottttta got no time. Got the bike to Chesapeake for its annual and 36,000 mile updates and came home in the cold and dark last night. Figured that would be the wiser decision, sleet and snow were forecast for this morning and although I am a novice rider I think I'm better in the dark than in any type of precipitation, especially the frozen variety. The ride home was quite nice except that riding in the dark, especially when behind another vehicle worries me. Well riding in the dark doesn't worry me, seeing or worse yet not seeing something on the road surface, anything from a dead animal to debris worries me. The fog light throw extra light low on the surface and are very helpful.Bundled up well and had a good ride, didn't really get chilly until about 8:00 when I stopped at a rest area. For some reason getting off the bike cooled me off. Live and learn.
So this week's entry for your consideration........................................
